David Young appointed counsel in case at Lebanon Tribunal On the 26th October 2011 the Head of the Defence Office at the Special Tribunal for the Lebanon appointed David Young, as lead Counsel to defend Assad Hassan SABRA, one of the four accused in the Rafik Hariri assassination case. Sabra is charged with Conspiracy aimed at committing a Terrorist Act, and with other charges relating to the alleged Intentional Homicide of Rafik Hariri and 21 other persons. There is a warrant issued for his arrest and submissions are planned by the STL for a trial being held against him in absentia. David Young will be speaking on the STL at 9 Bedford Row’s London Conference on 19th November 2011. |
